Starts 28 Feb 19:00

Organizer: HOC OSLO

We warmly welcome you to an evening of voice exploration and liberation. We come together for a workshop to open and free the voice, create a collective voice journey, and serve yummy cacao before we land and integrate through a candlelight concert by Sanne Rambags.

The voice is a bridge between the inner and the outer world and therefore works as a powerful vehicle of self-exploration and a way to adventure into the unknown. Many of us suppress ourselves based on limiting beliefs like “my voice is not beautiful” or “I can’t sing”. We have therefore learned to manage and control our voices - perhaps out of fear of rejection or abandonment. When we regain the power of our voice this liberation can create ripples through our being, freeing us to say what we think, be who we are, and to express our true nature.

HOW THE EVENING UNFOLDS

Opening circle

We begin our evening with a warm welcome, a grounding meditation, and a moment to set personal intentions - to arrive in the space and guide our awareness for the evening ahead.

Voice exploration workshop

Dive into a transformative experience where we will guide you through a series of playful exercises to move beyond the critical mind and to meet your voice and sound.

Voice journey

Immerse yourself in a co-created vocal experience. We'll layer harmonies, rhythms, and improvise together, creating a collective sound journey.

Cacao landing

We shift from expressing to receiving, feeling the lingering resonance of our shared sounds. We'll take a short break, serving ceremonial cacao, and transition into the concert.

Candlelight concert

Enjoy an intimate concert journey by Sanne Rambags, surrounded by candlelight. Here we lay down, let go, and integrate the experiences we had.

Closing circle

We come together one last time to reflect, share, and close our experience. This is a moment to honor the experiences we've shared and the connections we've made.

Hang Out

After the closing circle, you're welcome to stay, hang out, and connect with fellow participants.

HOSTS

Sanne Rambags, singer and composer, has shared her voice with audiences across the globe. From collaborating with musicians from different musical traditions, she has found her own genre-transcending way of improvised singing. She draws inspiration from traditional folk music from around the world and combines this with her background in experimental jazz to create soundscapes never heard before.

She is passionate about the role of music in meaning-making and belonging and how this can answer the lack of meaning that people may feel in life. By using her voice as an instrument she aims to open the doorway to the space beyond - where we remember that we already belong.

Ole Etnan has for years been deeply interested in better understanding the human psyche, leadership and the relevance of the ancient wisdom traditions for our current society. One thing his journey has revealed to him is the transformative power of voluntarily exposing ourselves to what we are afraid of. From being strongly inhibited by fear and limiting beliefs, he actively startet to expose himself to areas that were unknown and scary to him, like playing music, singing, dancing and creating art. He learned and experienced how liberating and revitalizing doing this work can be. His wish is to be of service by sharing the gold he found, and through this help others find the joy and presence that comes with liberating ourselves through creative expression - so that we again can liberate others.
