Building bridges with music: Two choirs in concert

Get ready for a night filled with energy, nostalgia, and timeless melodies as the two choirs The Melting Pot Collective and Hor Bratstva i Detinjstva join forces for a joint concert!

This special event will bring together two unique choirs for an evening that celebrates the universal power of music to connect and inspire. The Melting Pot Collective is a vibrant choir based in Stockholm, known for its dynamic performances of pop, rock, dance and soul classics spanning decades. The choir unites members from diverse backgrounds, bringing new life to beloved songs and creating an atmosphere of inclusivity, joy and belonging. From legendary hits to modern anthems, their performances are a tribute to the enduring spirit of contemporary Pop music. The other choir, Hor Bratstva i Detinjstva draws on the rich musical heritage of the former Yugoslavia, focusing on iconic pop and rock songs that have defined generations. This choir’s mission is to foster reconciliation and unity among people from the Balkans who now call Stockholm their home. Their performances are a celebration of shared cultural roots and shared memories, infused with passion and a deep sense of connection to their musical past. Both Choirs have been founded and are lead by Kristina Kovac, a musical powerhouse with decades of experience as a songwriter, producer, musician, and X Factor Adria judge and mentor.

Ovaj specijalni događaj okupiće dva jedinstvena hora koja slave univerzalnu snagu muzike da povezuje, miri i inspiriše. The Melting Pot Collective je vibrantan hor sa sedištem u Stokholmu, jedinstven po tome što ujedinjuje imigrante i Šveđane kroz muziku, kao i po dinamičnim izvođenjima pop, rok, dens i soul klasika kroz decenije. Hor okuplja članove sa raznih strana sveta, unoseći novi život u omiljene pesme i stvarajući atmosferu inkluzivnosti, radosti i pripadnosti. Od legendarnih hitova do modernih himni, njihovi nastupi su omaž trajnoj snazi savremene pop muzike. Sa druge strane, Hor Bratstva i Detinjstva crpi inspiraciju iz bogatog muzičkog nasleđa bivše Jugoslavije, fokusirajući se na kultne pop i rok pesme koje su obeležile generacije. Misija ovog hora je da neguje pomirenje i jedinstvo među ljudima sa Balkana koji sada nazivaju Stokholm svojim domom. Njihovi nastupi slave zajedničke kulturne korene i uspomene, prožete strašću i dubokim osećajem povezanosti sa muzičkom prošlošću. Oba hora osnovala je i vodi Kristina Kovač, muzičarka sa decenijama iskustva kao kantautor, producent, kompozitor, tekstopisac i mentor/sudija u X Factor Adria.
