Joachim Trier's star-studded film Sentimental Value, starring Stellan Skarsgård, Renate Reinsve and Elle Fanning, was invited to the main competition at the Cannes Film Festival this year and took home the Grand Prix. This is the fourth time that Joachim Trier has participated in the festival, cementing his role as one of the world's most prominent directors. Trier also participated in the main competition at Cannes with his previous film, The Worst Man in the World, and Renate Reinsve was awarded the Best Actress award.
