**In the fall of 2024, Absurdum Temporary Art embarked on an experimental process - Absurd Composition No. 12 - starting with a residence week at Inkonst. Now we are back with the final show Composition Reimagined - A Translation Game, presenting the result of the experiment. **
Being artists from different fields we are investigating the materials from which performing art is born, such as text and movement scores, graphic scores, and sketches, translating from practice to practice.
A dance becomes a word, becomes a light, becomes a song, becomes an action! A seamless flow of creation where translation and interpretation become a language, a new way of understanding.
In these translations, we challenge the learned traditions of our different practices. By stepping outside the comfortable nest of our habitual actions and thoughts we practice being in the unknown; a place where we can find the stuff we didn’t know we were searching for.

Absurdum Temporary Art was founded in 2019 and is run by Lisa Mårtensson, orchestrator and Lotta Fahlén, composer and sound artist. Absurdum creates devised, often immersive conceptual performance art and interactive sound works. Absurdum Temporary Art is exploring artistic method and form and have collage, music and soundscape as key supporting elements in their productions. Since may 2024 Absurdum owns and runs FRANK Gallery & Studios at Ahlmansgatan 3 in Malmö.
