Linnea Axelsson talks about her poetry collection Sjaunja. Three fading Sami goddesses, a family, a singing sea shell, are some of the figures gathered in Linnea Axelsson's new poetry collection. Sjaunja is both a vast natural area dominated by marshes and a Sami surname. Linnea Axelsson was born in 1980 in Porjus, Norrbotten but now lives in Stockholm. She has studied the humanities at Umeå University. In 2009 she made her debut with the novel Tvillingsjewellery and in 2018 the acclaimed epic was published Ædnan, who in 2018 was awarded the August Prize.
