Canadian black metal force Spectral Wound carve through the genre’s excess with a sound that is as ferocious as it is haunting. Their melodies slash through walls of distortion like bitter winds through dead branches, a relentless yet elegiac force. There’s no posturing here—just pure, frostbitten conviction, delivered with a live intensity that leaves no room for escape. Joining them is the cryptic and harrowing Thantifaxath, a band that thrives in the depths of dissonance and dread.

Their suffocating, contorted compositions feel like a fever dream unraveling, where intricate, spiraling riffs give way to moments of oppressive stillness. Cold, cerebral, and utterly consuming, Thantifaxath weave their chaotic nightmare into a crushing, hypnotic trance—pulling the audience through shadowy corridors of sound and silence, deeper into their suffocating vision.
