Pittman Cole: Black and white striped suits, 3 singers interchanging for lead and harmony vocals, melodic choruses with high energy passages, technical arrangements and progressive elements. We are prog´n´roll.

You will hear influences from Deep Purple and Rush blended with King Gizzard and Dream Theater to name a few.

Pittman Cole have recently completed their debut album “GUILTY OF PROG´N´ROLL”. Mixed and mastered in Sweden by Erik Mårtensson (of Eclipse). 11 songs inspired by 60 years of the progression of prog and rock.

Pittman Cole have quickly built a reputation as a competent and engaging live act, performing alongside notable bands such as Bonafide, Debase, and Liar Thief Bandit at venues such as KB and Babel in Malmö, local festivals and also Stockholm, Gothenburg, Copenhagen and more.

Pittman Cole was formed in Malmö 2022 and the band members come from New Zealand, Ukraine and different parts of Sweden. The band consists of Dusty (vocals, guitar), Derek (vocals, keyboard), Vince (vocals, bass), and Don (drums). Their music is a collection of their favourite rock and prog bits from the last 65 years, formed into anything from 4 minutes to12 minutes prog´n´roll epics.

Dick Stunbolt – some biography ”Who is this Dick?” Well, it’s a complex story. I live and breathe rock n’ roll. Creating music is my life. And I do it by telling my life story. I’ve had a rough couple of years. But instead of whining about my situation in terms of who to blame for my mental health issues, substance abuse and poor judgement; I began to write a diary. A diary that somehow evolved into rock n’ roll songs. All about me.

So, freshly out of an institution for the feeble minded and with a little help from myself and some loose acquaintances, I broke into a studio in Sweden and pressed the record button. It turned out just how you would expect. And by that I mean it sounded like shit. At the time I didn’t really care and I honestly don’t recall my following action, as I sent a cassette to some random label.

Anyway, some time later on, Accelerator Records tracked me down. Wanting to release my songs. Apparently, I made a whole album. Since there now was huge amounts of potential money and limitless fame involved, I was forgiven the forced entry and the disgorged fluids in the grand piano and was invited back to the studio to re-mix what has become an album with no less qualities than a timeless masterpiece.

I repeat; a masterpiece. And it’s all about me. Hail Mary, kiss the goat! Album release date: Dec 6, 2024
