How Tickster processes your personal data

Tickster AB ("Tickster, "us" or "we") is committed to protecting your privacy and processing your personal data in a secure and lawful manner. All processing of personal data takes place in accordance with current legislation. This means, among other things, that Tickster protects your personal data with the necessary measures and that you always have the right to contact us to find out what personal data we have saved about you. This policy explains how Tickster processes your personal data and applies when you make use of services provided through our website, www.tickster.com or affiliated websites, such as when you create an account on my.tickster.com. The policy also applies when you apply for work with us or when you are otherwise in contact with us.

Tickster provides you with the opportunity to purchase tickets or merchandise for events you are interested in through our website. The events are organized by companies and organizations that Tickster cooperates with ("Organizers"). Tickster is only responsible for the technical mediation of tickets, which means that Tickster, via the website, processes your personal data on behalf of the Organizer. Different Organizers may be responsible for different events. This means that different Organizers are responsible for processing your personal data depending on which event you buy tickets for via our website. Before each purchase, we therefore encourage you to read the separate policy that the relevant Organizer refers to at the time of your purchase.

Who is responsible for your personal data?

Tickster AB, org.nr. 556755-3044, is the data controller for the processing of your personal data and is responsible for ensuring that such processing is lawful.

How does Tickster access your personal data?

Tickster collects personal data that you provide to us when you, for example, apply for a job with us, use our website, contact us via our website or by phone, email or otherwise use our services.

Tickster offers the possibility, via our website, to use so-called free text fields (e.g. in the form of message fields) where you can choose to provide information and personal data. Personal data that you provide through such free text fields will be processed in accordance with this policy.

Tickster may also collect your personal data from sources other than you. The data may come from, for example, the Swedish Tax Agency or other public sources.

Which personal data are processed?

Tickster processes the personal data provided to us and/or collected by us. This may include name, e-mail address, telephone number, address details, date of birth, IP address, bank details, CV and personal letter and other personal data that you provide to us when using our services.

Why does Tickster process data about you?

Your personal data may be processed by Tickster for, among other things, the following purposes:

  • fulfill our commitments to you,
  • identify you as a user and ensure a secure login to your customer account via my.tickster.com,
  • manage card payments and verify the validity of the card,
  • improve your use and experience of our website and our other services,
  • enable good customer care and service by, for example, answering questions you ask us,
  • managing and administering job applications
  • sending newsletters and providing you with relevant offers,
  • use as a basis for invoicing and accounting, and
  • keep statistics.

When is Tickster entitled to process your personal data?

Tickster has the right to process your personal data for the performance of our contractual obligations towards you or, for specific purposes, to which you have given your consent. Tickster may also have the right to process your personal data due to legal or regulatory requirements.

Who has access to your personal data?

Your personal data is processed by Tickster and Tickster's data processors. As a rule, we do not disclose your personal data to third parties unless we are obliged to do so by law, regulation or official decision or to protect our rights or the rights of third parties. If it is necessary to fulfill the commitment to you, we may share your personal data with Organizers with whom you have a contractual relationship due to purchases you have made through our website, or Organizers' partners or suppliers.

We never pass on, sell or exchange your personal data for marketing purposes to third parties.

Transfers to third countries

Tickster only transfers personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA if the country concerned has a so-called adequate level of protection or is covered by standard clauses according to the EU or the European Commission or if this is specifically stated in connection with you providing your personal data to us. For example, we transfer personal data to the USA based on the European Commission's standard clauses on permitted transfers to third countries.

How long does Tickster keep your personal data?

Tickster only keeps your personal data for as long as it is necessary for Tickster to fulfill the purpose or purposes of the processing in each case.

What rights do you have?

You have the right to request at any time (free of charge once a year) information about what personal data Tickster has stored about you. Your request must be in writing and personally signed and include your name and social security number. We need this to ensure that we provide the information to the right person.

If your data is inaccurate, incomplete or irrelevant, you can request its rectification. We cannot delete your data if there is a legal requirement to retain it, such as accounting rules, or when there are other legitimate reasons why the data must be kept, such as unpaid debts.

In case your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, you can also adjust your data yourself by logging in to your account in my.tickster.com and updating your profile.

You can withdraw your consent for us to process your personal data at any time.

How is your data protected?

Tickster is constantly working to take all appropriate technical and organizational measures that are required in each case to protect your personal data and otherwise ensure that the processing takes place in accordance with applicable legislation at any given time.

When sensitive personal data, such as bank details in the form of credit card numbers, is transferred to other websites, it is protected by the use of encryption over the Secure Socket Layer protocol (SSL protocol).
