Sweden's northernmost national fiddler Daniel Wikslund and friends play “Allegro ma non troppo” – swirling and cheerful, but not too much!

"This year I'm bringing new musicians, Magdalena and Boel, who many have already seen and heard in the Swedish music scene. New songs that no one has heard yet and old ones that have been around long before us. You may have heard me before, I've seen many of you, and you are all very welcome to this year's concert by me and my musical friends!" greets Daniel Wikslund.

Magdalena Eriksson is one of Sweden's leading folk musicians, raised in a folk musician family outside Anundsjö and has an attractive turn in her string playing. She freelances as an artist and teaches at Malung Folk High School. As Daniel's right-hand sidekick during the market Saturday at Bio Norden, unforgettable charm and musicality are promised.

Boel Mogensen is a double bassist who appears in cross-genre contexts where jazz and improvisation are one of the components. In recent years, she has been heard in a handful of projects and bands in and outside Sweden. Her heart project is the trio Mor Dansar, for which she also arranges the music.
