Welcome to an After Work with the co-curator of Habibi, the Revolutions of Love exhibition, Khalid Abdel-Hadi.

Khalid Abdel-Hadi is a Jordanian LGBT activist and model, best known for founding My Kali, the first LGBT magazine in the Middle East and has also been listed as one of The Guardian's ‘LGBT change heroes of 2017’.

Khalid is also one of the co-curators of Habibi - the Revolutions of Love exhibition which was first shown at the Insitut du Monde Arabe in Paris and now showing at the Museum of Mediterranean and Near Eastern Antiquities in Stockholm.

During the evening, Khalid will share insights from behind the scenes of Habibi exhibition. He will talk about what it's like to publish an online magazine about queers from the Arab world, in Arabic.

You will also have the chance to ask your questions directly to Khalid.
