Klabbes Bank is something very unique from the Swedish jazz scene. It is music that dares to linger in moods and that, with its improvisational nerve, has succeeded in creating its own sound. After a short break, the band releases its seventh album Ensamheten, which is celebrated with a long-awaited Sweden tour and an obvious stop at PlanB in Tranås.

During its twenty years, Klabbes Bank has become something of an institution in Swedish modern jazz with its eclectic sound, where synths and drum machines are mixed with the almost symbiotic sound of the two wind and one brass instruments. Sometimes they surf over a throng of electronic sounds, sometimes they become part of a gigantic musical collage. The band draws inspiration from both jazz and experimental electronic music as well as modern Berlinesque club music and creates something extremely unique from this mix!

The band was founded in 2003 by the composer Klas-Henrik "Klabbe" Hörngren, also known from collaborations and tours with, among others, Loney Dear, Ane Brun and Eva Dahlgren, and this year celebrates twenty years since the first record release Musik För Sånna Som Mormor och Morfar.
