MK-Ultra - OBS Datum EJ FASTÄLLT - UPPDATERAS SEN

MK-Ultra was the name of an illegal operation secretly carried out by the CIA between 1953 and 1973. The idea was to, with the help of drugs, brainwashing, torture, and hypnosis, gain control over people. They wanted to be able to manipulate politicians, control the opinions of the masses, but above all, program a person to commit a murder and then have no memory of the event.

In this performance, Bobbo gives a more detailed account of MK-Ultra and, using mentalism and hypnosis techniques, demonstrates how it’s possible to control people. Some examples include removing someone’s ability to read, influencing participants’ decisions, making someone forget what they drew just 20 seconds earlier, or removing someone’s strength so they can’t even tear a piece of paper.

The twist in the show is that it’s also an interactive murder investigation involving the audience. Every participant is either a witness or a suspected murderer. But of course, they’ve lost their memory.

With the help of hypnosis and mentalism, Bobbo interrogates a few witnesses (randomly chosen audience members), who are then able to share information about the murder. This leads to Bobbo catching the killer – who, of course, turns out to be someone from the audience.
