Musikaliska Talks: The Drowners

They debuted in 1994 with a song on a compilation album from A West Side Fabrication. Then things moved quickly. Widely played on Swedish radio, appeared at the major festivals, hits in Asia, tours and recordings in the United States, soundtrack for film and television. Meet The Drowners, one of the leading bands during the 90s when the pop city of Skellefteå delivered all over the world.

In recent years, they have resumed their musical collaboration. This evening, they reunite at the Storytelling Festival under the heading Musical Talks to talk about their successful adventure in the music world. About driving forces, work processes and certainly some interesting anecdotes from these intense years. The conversation leader is Per Strömbro who, among other things, will connect to today's theme at the Storytelling Festival – improv/in the moment.

Of course, we also get to listen to live music with The Drowners unplugged.
