Ella Marie is a Sámi artist and activist from Sápmi in Northern-Norway. As the charismatic frontwoman of the band ISÁK for 7 years, she has captivated audiences with her electrifying stage presence and her soul-stirring expression of joik. In 2024, she embarked on a new journey as a solo artist, debuting at both Riddu Riđđu and the Øya Festival with a powerful blend of timeless pop sung in Northern Sámi.

Her national breakthrough came in 2018 when she won the Norwegian talent show Stjernekamp, capturing the hearts of viewers across the country. With over 245 million streams on Spotify and collaborations with globally renowned artists like Alan Walker, Ella Marie toured the world with ISÁK until 2023. She has wielded her music as a powerful tool for advocacy, championing Sámi rights and emerging as a symbol of Sámi pride and cultural resilience.
