DJ Nibc: Global Presence, Local Roots. One of Gothenburg’s most dedicated DJs and an advocate for underground electronic music, Nibc has spent over a decade in Berlin performing at prestigious venues and festivals worldwide, including stops in Tokyo, London, Paris, and New York. Known for his evolving sound and energetic sets, Nibc brings a unique blend to every performance. From his roots in Gothenburg’s early ’90s rave scene with the Claustrophobic Dimension network, he rose to prominence, becoming a well-recognized name in Sweden’s electronic music scene. With a house-centric focus in the 2000s, his DJ skills and productions garnered a dedicated following across Scandinavia and beyond.Beyond his career as a DJ, Nibc has run several influential clubs, including The Eye, RA, and Bagheera. These ventures helped foster a local scene that would later feed into his highly-regarded record label and club concept, Trunkfunk.

The label’s reputation has grown worldwide, with support from artists such as Annie Mac and Moodymann.

With Trunkfunk’s 10-year anniversary as a club concept, Nibc has consistently brought some of the most exciting acts in electronic music to Gothenburg, Stockholm, and Berlin. The club’s lineup has included groundbreaking performers like Egyptian Lover, Nina Kraviz, Peggy Gou, and Legowelt, putting Gothenburg on the global electronic music map.

Latest Releases ‍DJ Nibc continues to push boundaries with recent solo releases, including his Hold On EP on the UK’s legendary Ministry of Sound, showcasing his signature funky house and techno fusion. His latest track, Chemistry, is currently out on Trunkfunk.
