Tjolöholm Castle is Scandinavia's primary Arts and Crafts property. The lavish castle was completed in 1904 and is said to be one of Sweden’s most remarkable buildings. Architect Lars Israel Wahlman designed the castle in Tudor style for James Fredrik Dickson and his wife, Blanche. The guided tour takes around 45 minutes and are held in Swedish, but the room descriptions are available in English, German and French.
